Malay

Malay is spoken in Malaysia. There are some Malay speakers in Singapore and Thailand. Malay and Indonesian are very similar. Malay contains many words of Arabic and Sanskrit. English words of Malay origin include bamboo, paddy, orangutan. (Source: The language of the world, Kenneth Katzner)
